Accounts Assistant , you'll be a vital member of our Finance team, helping to produce key financial information that supports senior management in driving the growth of our business. This role is an opportunity to thrive in a fast-paced

environment, working with a collaborative team while contributing to the success of a dynamic and forward-thinking company. Full training and support will be provided to the successful candidate where required around specific solutions, but it is expected the candidate to have prior bookkeeping experience. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Automated and ad-hoc customer invoicing Credit control Processing receipts, invoices and expenses Dealing with email and telephone enquiries Bank and credit card reconciliations Reconciliation of Direct Debits from customers Assisting with monthly payroll production Dealing with suppliers, reconciliation of supplier statements and preparation of weekly payment runs Development of systems and processes to improve the functioning of the department Supporting other departments in the business Key Skills Required: Demonstrates a desire and aptitude to learn new skills Self-motivated and hard-working individual Highly organised and tenacious individual Good attention to detail Experience working with Xero, GoCardless and Eclipse billing system an advantage Proven competency with Outlook, Excel & Word Experience with direct debits set-up and collections is desirable Must be able to work and communicate effectively with both customers, suppliers and other team members Conversant with browser-based CRM Database system (Vtiger.com) or similar Willing to carry out general office duties to include being involved in the tea and coffee rota (Directors are also included in this) Salary & Benefits: The successful candidate will be rewarded with the following salary and benefits: £25,000-£30,000 annual salary, although negotiable based on experience 23 days' annual leave (plus bank holidays) Birthday off work (If it falls on a weekend the nearest Monday or Friday off) Remote Access tools for working from home (if applicable) Company Laptop (if required) Group Stakeholder pension following initial three months WPA Cash Benefit Scheme following successful probation About Us Blue Scorpion / EIT specialise in: Pick, Pack and Despatch for payment solutions Network Security & Compliance WiFi Infrastructure Installation of Digital Signage Cabling and Infrastructure (Category 5,6,7 and Fibre) Rollouts of EPOS and Payment Solutions New Store Openings for High Street brands All applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK, and due to the nature of our business have a clean driving licence and credit/criminal history. Blue Scorpion Limited and EIT Limited are an equal opportunities employer.
