About the role
This is a full-time on-site role for an Accounts Assistant at Kernel, based in the heart of the City of London. The Accounts Assistant will be primarily responsible for Group Accounts Payable (across four brands and three countries) but also support the Credit Control function and Accounts Receivable, and basic accounting duties on a day-to-day basis.
Accounts Payable responsibilities:
Full responsibility for Group Accounts Payable function (Dartmouth, Pure, Catalyst, Kernel across multiple countries)
Code and post supplier invoices
Manage bank payments
Manage email inboxes
Management of supplier relationships
Reconciliation of supplier accounts
Management of Group Expenses including responsibility for Expenses Policy
Review and approve employee expenses (querying as necessary)
Credit Control/Accounts Receivable responsibilities:
Provide cover and support for Credit Control and Accounts Receivable functions, including but not limited to the following:
Assisting consultants in tracking received payments from clients
Assist with reconciliations of accounts/payments
Communicating with clients as and when necessary
Weekly/monthly reporting (debtors, billing etc)
What we're looking for:
Experience in Accounts Payable in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in numerical data
Proficiency in Xero accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Salary:
£25,000-£30,000pa
