The Opportunity

This role is a great opportunity for a bright, self-starting and teachable candidate to work in finance. You will be a crucial and active member of the WAS finance team as this role involves both accounts payable and accounts receivable, making this role a fantastic opportunity for the right individual. This role will fully immerse you into the world of finance in a fast-moving industry, where you will be tasked to complete your day-to-day activities while putting your problem-solving abilities and innovation capabilities to the test.

Being highly organised, having a strong attention to detail, a can-do attitude and a warm personality are the keys to achieving success in this role. We are open to this role being Part-Time.

Requirements

What You'll Have Delivered Elsewhere

Oversee and manage the accounts payable ledgers, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices. Support the accounts receivable process, facilitating timely collection of payments and account management. Ensure all financial ledgers are accurately maintained and updated regularly. Handle credit card and bank reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are resolved promptly. Track and manage accruals for overseas freelancers, ensuring accurate and timely expense reporting. Consistently review and manage the ERP system to ensure accuracy in employee data, client information, and job setup, aligning with reporting requirements. Perform month-end balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all accounts are balanced and discrepancies are addressed. Assist with the revenue postings for Paid Media and WAS Studios. What Else Are We Looking For?

Demonstrates strong organisational abilities with a keen attention to detail. Exhibits an enthusiastic and proactive attitude, with a strong willingness to learn and adapt. Some experience using MS Excel and Google Sheets at a moderate level. Ambition to pursue ACCA or CIMA certification. Keen interest in learning and developing skills in finance. Benefits
