About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounts Manager to oversee our financial operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate financial reporting, efficient management of accounts receivable and payable, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and suppliers. Key Responsibilities: Financial Management: Overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger. Preparing and analysing financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and tax requirements. Managing and reconciling bank accounts. Preparing and submitting tax returns. Client and Supplier Relationships: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and suppliers. Resolving billing disputes and other financial issues. Negotiating favorable payment terms with suppliers. Payroll and HR: Overseeing the payroll process, including calculating salaries, deductions, and taxes. Ensuring timely and accurate payment of salaries and benefits. Managing employee records and maintaining compliance with employment laws. Assisting with HR functions, such as recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding. General Office Administration: Managing office supplies and equipment. Answering and directing phone calls. Providing administrative support to other departments as needed. System Implementation and Improvement: Implementing and maintaining financial systems and software, specifically QuickBooks. Identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation. Qualifications and Skills: Proven experience in an accounts management role. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in QuickBooks. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong organisational and time management skills. Hours of work will be Tuesday - Friday 08:30 - 17:30 and Saturday 09:00 - 16:00
