The Role

Line manage and develop the staff in the accounts team. Manage and implement Accounts Workflow Procedures in relation to all aspects of accounts preparation, ensuring the team does the same and standards are maintained at a high level. Manage incoming accounts jobs to ensure that resources are available to meet client's accounting deadlines and match internal resources available. Highlight, in advance, any resource gaps and make the necessary recommendations to fulfill work requirements. Oversee and review workflow preparation of statutory accounts (primarily FRS102, FRS102 1A, and FRS105) from both computer and manual records. Report to Partners directly, ensuring queries are cleared and exceptions/points of note are communicated to Partners for client communications. Work with Seniors to liaise with clients to ensure work is planned efficiently and necessary documentation is obtained. Specifically manage allocated accounts assignments. ACCA / ACA qualified. Strong UK practice experience with 4-5 years post qualification. Previous line management experience. Financial Reporting - UK GAAP experience. Excellent communication, interpersonal and client management skills. Able to produce high quality work in a fast-paced environment. Team player. Confident, positive, professional and can-do attitude. Strong IT skills, specifically Excel and able to pick up new IT packages very quickly. Create a positive impression with clients and staff. Location:
