Your new firm

As Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for the year-end accounts preparation for a range of clients including complex limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships. You will prepare corporation tax computations and returns as well as deferred tax calculations and VAT returns. You will use a variety of accounting software, including CCH, and manage your own portfolio of clients, serving as a direct point of contact for all queries.

Your new role

As Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for the year-end accounts preparation for a range of clients including complex limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships. You will prepare corporation tax computations and returns as well as deferred tax calculations and VAT returns. You will use a variety of accounting software, including CCH, and manage your own portfolio of clients, serving as a direct point of contact for all queries.

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate will have previous experience handling accounts for a wide range of clients in a practice environment, for Partner review. You should be AAT/ACA/ACCA qualified, part qualified, or qualified by experience (QBE). Experience with various accounting software and a strong working knowledge of Excel are essential. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills are necessary. The ability to review the work of junior staff and provide training will be ideal.
