We are currently recruiting to an Accounts Officer role in our Rent Accounting and Home Ownership Service. The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate:

GCSE Maths and English

Additional education to level 2

A minimum of 2 years’ experience gained in a housing finance environment

Flexibility, reliability and able to work in an agile environment

Experienced in reconciliation and analysing data

Knowledge of leaseholder and Right to Buy legislation

Excellent skills in Microsoft software, in particular Excel spreadsheets

Attention to detail and accuracy

Be organised and meet strict deadlines

Experience of electronic management systems for example in housing, finance and/or corporate management systems

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The council operates hybrid working. This involves working from an agreed workplace location in the borough for at least two days a week.

The closing date for applications is Monday 16 September 2024.

Interviews will take place week commencing 30 September 2024.
