Your role:
Checking invoices for accuracy and matching against POs raised by the business prior to sending to the offsite imaging centre.
Contacting new suppliers and confirming any changes requested to supplier banking information by phone to prevent fraudulent activity.
Assisting the AP Supervisors in checking the weekly multiple currency payment runs.
Highlighting problem accounts to the Supervisors and AP Manager where necessary.
Reviewing and creating new vendors.
Dealing with supplier queries.
Assessing and creating urgent payments.
Reconciling key supplier statement accounts.
Investigating and clearing any outstanding items.
We’d love it if you also had:
Oracle accounting software experience (not essential).
Aged creditor review experience.
An understanding of fraud prevention and things to look out for.
Good Microsoft Outlook knowledge.
Experience dealing with processing invoices from all over the world and an understanding of reverse charge tax.
About you:
More than one year’s experience in accounts payable.
Excellent attention to detail and an understanding of the importance of excellent customer service.
An excellent communicator, who enjoys working as part of a team as well as independently.
Previous accounting package experience is a must.
Competently documents notes during training.
Experience using Word and Excel.
Ability to remain focused while working under pressure and tight deadlines.
Highly organized using email.
GCSE grades and above.
About us:
We are based at 27 Wrights Lane, High Street Kensington. Currently, we are working a 2-day week in the office and 3 days from home. Our team is a shared service centre that supports Warner Music UK Ltd, Warner Music International Services Ltd, WMIS Ltd, Warner Classics, and numerous sub-labels that fall under these groups. We are a diverse, friendly team who welcomes new members and will offer support where required. Full training of the role will be provided. The business is currently transitioning over to SAP to become a larger global shared service centre supporting EMEA.
