We are looking for an

Accounts Payable Assistant

to join the growing Finance team, who will work alongside the rest of the Specialist Teams (IT, People, Office Management etc.) to support the business.

They will be a key team player, ensuring they live by our values and support the Finance team in meeting their financial objectives. They will be responsible for processing supplier invoices and paying suppliers, dealing with supplier payment queries, processing employee expenses and managing the company credit cards. Also dealing with Paprika queries (expenses & invoice approvals). The role will be based in the London office but will also cover offices in New York and Singapore.

As is the case with all roles at Yonder, the Accounts Payable Assistant will be expected to contribute in whatever way they can to the success of the company and may be asked to undertake tasks that are not included below. This is a very important element of the role, and we expect the Accounts Payable Assistant to help and support across the wider Operations Teams (e.g. IT, People, and Office Management). We believe in helping our colleagues when they need it, and the Accounts Payable Assistant can expect the same support in return.

Key Responsibilities

You will be: Setting up supplier details in Paprika (finance system), updating supplier payment terms and other supplier information Processing supplier invoices, journal postings and employee expenses in Paprika Setting up payments in the bank for approval Ensuring suppliers, freelancers and employee expenses are paid on a timely basis Dealing with any queries on supplier, freelancer and employee payments Managing company credit cards Managing petty cash and processing cheques Processing any incentives/donation requests Aged Creditors Review Monitor and maintain the delegated Finance email inbox Ad-hoc tasks as and when required

Key Competencies

You will have: The ability to learn new systems. Experience with Paprika is desirable but not essential. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word A positive with a can-do attitude A proactive, self-motivated and adaptive approach to a fast-changing environment Excellent attention to detail The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines The ability to work as part of a team
