The Role: We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to oversee and lead our accounts payable and master data functions. As part of our forward-thinking finance team, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth processing of vendor invoices and employee expenses while driving process improvements and supporting internal controls.

Key Responsibilities: Lead the accounts payable and master data function, ensuring efficient administration of vendor invoices and employee expenses. Manage the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely invoicing and payment deadlines for rebates, franchise income, and supplier funding. Oversee the new supplier process, ensuring accuracy and reducing fraud risks. Own payment schedules for landlord expenditure and business rates, adjusting for varying payment frequencies. Work with the business to identify and implement improvements in accounts payable processes and reporting. Provide leadership through periods of change, supporting your team with clear direction and risk management. Act as a key point of contact for the wider business, offering expert advice and support on accounts payable matters. Manage reconciliations and resolve any issues with problem accounts. Prioritise payments to maintain cash flow, reduce supplier complaints, and manage financial risk. Contribute to the development of Procure Wizard, expanding its use within the company. About You: You'll be a proactive, self-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for leadership. You'll have excellent organisational skills, a high attention to detail, and be capable of balancing competing priorities. Your ability to build strong relationships across the business will be key to your success in this role.

Required Skills & Experience:

Proven leadership skills and experience in managing a team. Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and controls. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, building strong relationships with colleagues at all levels. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with high-volume processing and managing multiple queries. Ability to work to tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Previous experience in dealing with complex situations and influencing management. Desirable System Experience:
