Monica Vinader is a private equity backed omni-channel retailer operating globally. The business operates across eCommerce, multi-site retail and wholesale channels. The company directly controls and accounts for subsidiaries in the UK, US, China, Hong Kong and Singapore and achieved sales of over £100m in the most recent financial year.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of invoices, managing supplier relationships, and maintaining the integrity of the accounts payable process.

You will be pro-active, demonstrate attention to detail, be driven to implement improvements and utilise strong communication skills to work efficiently in finance and across the business.

What you'll do Processing multi-currency invoices in a timely manner in our accounting system, Sage 200 Checking and coding invoices so that they are correctly analysed using Kefron Recording bank transactions and reconciling the company's bank accounts Matching invoices to Purchase Orders where relevant Checking and reconciling supplier statements Liaising within the business to ensure that invoices have been approved prior to payment Dealing with all supplier enquiries via email or telephone Setting up new supplier accounts in Sage 200 and maintaining existing supplier account details so that they are up to date Monthly reconciliation of aged creditors report Processing staff expense claims Processing payment runs and performing ad hoc supplier payments as and when required Ad hoc month end reconciliations Quarterly VAT returns Annual PSA return to HMRC Carbon reporting Utility management Issuing company credit cards and handling requests, with monthly reconciliations between SAGE and expensify Monitoring post in the office Adhoc project work

What you'll bring

Essential: Process driven with a disciplined approach to work Self-motivated and well organised with a keen attention to detail Strong communication skills - confident talking to internal staff and suppliers Proactive - able to generate new ideas and more efficient ways of working Team player Adaptable - able to prioritise and be flexible Able to work to monthly deadlines An aptitude for IT - used Microsoft Excel, Word and other standard software packages

Desired: Used Sage Accounting system (preferably Sage 200) Used Kefron Experience paying suppliers in a timely manner

Additional Requirements

Ability to document your authorisation to work in the United Kingdom.

Travel Requirements

This role would be contracted to work from our London office. We are open to hybrid working patterns that combine time spent in the office and working from home, as suits the role and the candidate.
