Accounts Receivable Clerk

to join our client’s finance team in Dover. This temporary position offers an excellent opportunity for an individual who is ready to take on a challenging role with one of the UK’s leading specialist recruitment partners. Responsibilities:

Efficiently manage and process incoming payments, ensuring accuracy in the accounts receivable ledger. Generate and dispatch invoices to clients promptly. Actively engage in the resolution of payment issues and conduct follow-ups on overdue accounts. Maintain clear communication with clients regarding payment details and terms. Handle credit memos, adjustments, and other necessary financial transactions. Prepare bank deposits and assist in the reconciliation of financial records. Keep accurate and comprehensive records and reports pertaining to accounts receivable. Required Skills & Qualifications:

Demonstrable experience in an Accounts Receivable role or similar capacity. Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and proficiency in financial reporting. Familiarity with accounting software and strong skills in MS Office, especially Excel. Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Keen attention to detail and a commitment to high accuracy levels. Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team setting. Candidates should be within a commutable distance to Dover.
