Job Description Manage credit control procedures and ensure compliance with company policies. Monitor customer accounts for irregularities and delayed payments. Prepare regular reports on account statuses and escalate issues as necessary. Collaborate with the finance team to set credit limits, based on risk and credit analyses. Maintain accurate records of all credit transactions, including application processes and payment schedules. Resolve customer credit issues in a timely and effective manner. Support the finance department in its day-to-day operations. Stay current with industry trends and developments in credit management. The Successful Applicant A successful Accounts Receivable Clerk should have: An academic background in finance, business administration, or a related field. Proven experience in a credit control or similar role. Experience within the industrial / manufacturing industry is preferred but not essential. Strong knowledge of credit control procedures and principles. Excellent communication skills with a customer service orientation. Proficiency in using financial software and databases.
