Working within a busy Accounts Receivable department, the role is an integral part of the AR Function. You will be the foundation of the success, efficiency, and effectiveness of a well-established Credit Control team by accurately performing the daily processes and procedures. Full training will be provided to the candidate that shows enthusiasm and interest in an office/accounts/administration role. Tasks & Responsibilities

Distribute and action incoming/outgoing post. Franking machine/Royal Mail/Deliveries. Ad hoc admin duties. Answering telephone calls. Uplifting queries onto Credit Approval system. Liaising with internal and external customers. Maintaining Sales Ledger email Inbox. Accounting Duties

Accurately allocating incoming payments via BACS and Cheque. Identify and communicate payment discrepancies. Monitoring and processing documentation for invoice payment reversals/deductions. Maintaining Payment Remittance folder. Unallocated cash weekly review. Overpayment process. Daily/Weekly invoice billing using automated systems. Processing invoice documentation via email, uploads to finance and customer portals. Ad hoc manual billing. Issue copies of documents as requested by Customers/AR team. Customer account maintenance. Supporting Credit Controllers with account reconciliations/analysis. Running weekly reports for continuity checks, missing sales. Maintaining internal controls and processes to a high standard. Development

Opportunity to learn the role of a Credit Controller. Query resolution skills. Communication skills. Implementing new processes and procedures. Skills required

Computer literate with a good level of IT skills including MS Office. Excellent communication skills. Effectively work as part of a team. Great organisational skills. Accounting skills an advantage.
