THE ROLE…
The Accounts Receivable Officer reports to the National Credit Manager and is responsible for overseeing the administration function within the accounts receivable team. This includes ensuring the timely and accurate reconciliation of bank transactions, as well as the efficient processing and allocation of customer payments.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Management of the accounts receivable inbox
Coordination of daily banking reconciliations
Overseeing refund processing
Assisting with processing new credit applications & credit limits
Conducting credit assessments
Creating manual invoices and credits approved
Providing exceptional Internal and External Customer Service
THE PERSON…
Our ideal candidate is an organised, self-starter with strong attention to detail, having worked in similar administration/accounts roles.
You will also possess the following:
Proactive research, analysis, and problem-solving skills
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner
Intermediate level of Word and Excel
