What the role involves

  • Maintain accurate financial records for a portfolio of clients using Xero and Dext platforms.
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures, including reconciliations, journal entries and accruals.
  • Review financial statements, management reports and tax returns in line with UK GAAP and HMRC requirements.
  • Supporting clients with financial analysis, cash flow forecasting and budgeting insights to drive informed decision-making.
  • Liaise with clients, bookkeepers and external auditors to ensure timely and accurate submission of financial documentation.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy and compliance across accounting workflows.
