Your new Firm This is an exciting opportunity to join a unique, growing independent firm, located in Wigan, who are seeking an Accounts semi senior professional to join their team due to internal organic growth. They specialise in bookkeeping, VAT, accounts, audit, tax and payroll services. Their client base particularly varies, dealing with SME’s, sole traders and e-commerce clients, with turnovers reaching £12 million. With their internal growth, it is a great opportunity for you to develop and progress within the firm. Your new role You will be joining a team of accounts professionals, where you can develop your already existing knowledge and develop it in your new firm. Your day to day duties will consist of supporting your team, especially assisting juniors. You will assist in the preparation of accounts for e-commerce clients and assisting them over zoom. Other duties consist of personal self-assessment returns and corporation tax returns. What you'll need to succeed In order to succeed in this role, you will need prior experience of working in a practice, specifically 2 years’ experience; you will need to be part qualified in your ACCA or ACA qualifications. Interpersonal qualities will also be required to succeed in this role. These consist of being able to effectively communicate with both clients and colleagues to assist in forming and maintaining relationships. What you'll get in return In return, you will be offered a competitive salary ranging between £25,000 to £32,000, whilst having the opportunity to work within a unique firm that offers great opportunities for development; you will be offered a generous study package.
