accounting firm based in Derby , is seeking an experienced and highly skilled
Accounts Senior
to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the firm’s continued growth and success while working with a diverse portfolio of clients. Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting and Accounts Preparation:
Prepare and review
financial statements
for a wide range of clients, ensuring compliance with
UK GAAP ,
IFRS , and other relevant standards. Compile accounts for
sole traders, partnerships , and
limited companies , maintaining accuracy and completeness. Oversee
bookkeeping
and preparation of
management accounts . Tax Compliance and Planning:
Prepare and file
VAT returns
in compliance with
HMRC
regulations. Assist with the preparation of
personal and corporate tax returns . Provide
tax planning advice
to clients, identifying opportunities for tax savings and efficiency. Ideal Candidate:
ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualified
with significant post-qualification experience. Proven experience in a
senior accounting role , ideally within an independent accounting firm. Strong knowledge of
UK GAAP ,
