We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Senior on behalf of our client - a reputable and respected accountancy practice in Kilmarnock. Joining the long-established accountancy firm, the successful candidate will work as part of the accounts team to provide an efficient, reliable and friendly service to personal and business clients. The company offers a hybrid working approach (2 days in the office and 3 days from home to suit). Responsibilities:

Preparing & reviewing accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients (limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders). Analysing financial data to provide insights and recommendations to clients. Preparing, reviewing, and submitting VAT returns, corporation tax, and personal tax returns. Liaising directly with clients and dealing with queries, understanding their unique needs and ensuring they receive timely and accurate advice. Acting as the primary point of contact for clients on all matters related to accounting, tax, and financial planning. Minimum Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice. Strong understanding of UK accounting and tax regulations. Proficient with MS Office & various accounting/bookkeeping software (i.e. Sage, IRIS). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
