Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement : Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients, becoming their go-to advisor for all financial matters. Understand their goals, challenges, and opportunities, and provide proactive, value-driven advice. Account Preparation : Prepare and review annual accounts, management accounts, and financial statements for a varied portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and clarity. Tax Compliance : Oversee the preparation and submission of VAT returns, corporation tax returns, and personal tax returns, ensuring all deadlines are met and clients are informed of their tax obligations and opportunities. Advisory Services : Provide clients with expert advice on financial planning, tax strategies, and business growth, using data-driven insights to help them make informed decisions. Team Collaboration : Work closely with other members of the team on projects and knowledge sharing to ensure a seamless client experience.

Our Ideal Candidate will be

Experienced : You’ll have experience working within a similar role within an accountancy practice, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial management. Strong computer skills would be an advantage. Fully or Part Qualified : Being part or fully qualified in a professional accountancy qualification is preferred but not essential as support towards professional qualifications is also available to the right candidate. Communicative : You’ll be a genuine people person with excellent communication skills. You listen actively, articulate complex information, and build trust with a diverse portfolio of clients. Collaborative : You’ll be a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and is willing to share knowledge, support colleagues and be happy to work as part of a team to tight deadlines. Adaptable : You’ll be comfortable with change and excited by the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You are open to new ideas and continuously seek ways to improve.
