Accounts Senior to join a leading chartered accountancy practice in Bideford. Training, support and progression on offer within a successful chartered firm. About Our Client Based in Bideford, the firm has been undergoing continued growth, with more recent organic new client growth. The position has arisen through planning for further expansion, with managers needing the additional support of a career-focused professional looking to progress technically and in level. The firm acts for wide-ranging sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, and family-owned businesses across various industry sectors. Job Description Joining as a key addition as Accounts Senior/Senior Accountant based in Bideford, you will carve a key role within the team undertaking a hands-on role, with increasing responsibility to help manage juniors, reviewing and checking work along with the hands-on delivery of year-end accounts, tax, and wider services, and developing client relationships. You will therefore undertake preparation and review of accounts production for wide-ranging sole traders/partnerships, with a significant focus on limited companies, along with general taxation work across personal and corporate tax, VAT Returns, and bookkeeping help and advice to clients. You will have increasing responsibility and opportunity to progress your career and carve an influential position as a key addition to this growing firm. The Successful Applicant The firm is looking to consider individuals across a range of levels as the role can be moulded accordingly. You may be part ACA/ACCA, or qualified, as an experienced Senior Accountant within the accountancy practice sector. Alternatively, you may have developed your career entirely through experience within accountancy practice, or may be AAT qualified with career experience developed with at least three to four years, or considerably more experience within this sector. You will have a background preparing accounts/tax and wider services for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. You will be looking to progress within your career and seeking an opportunity within a highly successful firm of chartered accountants that offers you a path to develop.
