Job Description Oversee client bookkeeping Able to manage and take responsibility for own portfolio of clients Preparation of complex company financial statements Preparation of interim management accounts Preparation of personal tax returns Preparation of partnership accounts and returns Review and submit quarterly VAT returns VAT Registration and Deregistration Forecasts and business projections - not essential Attend client meetings and interact with directors and business owners Train members of staff and allocate duties Company Secretarial Duties Preparation of P11ds (desirable) Set and work to budgets to meet monthly forecasts Any other general accountancy/administrative work as required The Successful Applicant A successful Accounts Senior should have: Excellent experience of Sage 50, Xero, Quickbooks, Iris, Excel (essential) Sage Business Cloud (advantage) Strong Attention to Detail Excellent Time Management Skills Exceptional Communication Skills with a good telephone manner Good written and technical Skills Strong Prioritisation and Organisation Skills Ability to Handle Confidential Information Strong Record Keeping Skills Working towards or ACA/ACCA qualified - QBE also considered What's on Offer An attractive salary of approximately £33,000 - £36,000 per year Study Support to aid in career advancement Free Parking for ease of commute Flexible working hours around core time of 10.30am - 4.00pm A stimulating environment on the outskirts of Sheffield The company's culture promotes growth, innovation, and work-life balance.
