About the Company: Our client is a small but rapidly growing accountancy practice based in Wickford, Essex. They pride themselves on delivering high-quality financial services to a diverse range of clients across various industries. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a proactive and experienced Accounts Senior to join their team and play a key role in supporting their expanding client base.

The Role: As an Accounts Senior, you will have the opportunity to work closely with Qualified Accountants, Managers, and Directors, gaining valuable hands-on experience in a supportive and professional environment. You will manage a portfolio of clients, preparing accounts, providing expert advice, and ensuring that their financial needs are met to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies Production of management accounts and financial statements Handling VAT returns, bookkeeping, and payroll services Assisting with tax compliance, including corporate and personal tax returns Maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring all deadlines are met Supporting the team with ad hoc accounting tasks and projects

About you: AAT qualified, part-qualified ACCA/ACA, or equivalent At least 3 years of experience in an accountancy practice Solid understanding of UK accounting standards and tax regulations Proficiency with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage Strong communication and client management skills Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and within a team
