Due to ongoing growth, they are now seeking a skilled Account & Tax Senior to join their team in the Bexhill area.

The Role:

As an Account & Tax Senior, you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of accounting, tax, and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients. This position offers the opportunity to work with both SMEs and high-net-worth individuals, providing a holistic approach to their financial and tax needs. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining strong client relationships while providing expertise in financial reporting, tax compliance, and planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of financial accounts for a varied client base, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. Managing tax compliance and planning for personal and corporate clients. Reviewing work completed by junior staff members and providing mentorship as needed. Working closely with clients to understand their financial and business objectives and providing relevant, actionable advice. Staying up-to-date with tax legislation changes to provide informed guidance. Assisting with client queries and delivering outstanding customer service.

Requirements

Requirements: Qualified ACA, ACCA, or ATT (or equivalent), with at least 3 years of relevant experience in a public accounting firm. Strong knowledge of UK tax regulations, including corporate and personal tax. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
