**Role Overview:**

As an Acoustic Consultant, you will be at the forefront of managing a variety of acoustic projects from inception to completion. This includes conducting acoustic assessments and testing for new builds and modifications to ensure compliance with building regulations for planning approvals. Your role will be hybrid, with time split between working from home and the office near Chester. Occasional travel to meet clients in person will also be required.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Manage building acoustic projects, overseeing the scope of work and budgets.

- Conduct site visits, meet with clients, and perform acoustic testing.

- Ensure all projects adhere to relevant standards such as BS 4142 and BS 8233.

**Ideal Candidate:**

- Previous experience in Acoustic Engineering or Consultancy.

- A keen interest or experience in Building Acoustics.

- Membership with the Institute of Acoustics (IOA).

- Full driving licence.
