Overview: We are looking for Acro Dance Coaches to join our team and assist our classes in achieving their full potential. The successful candidate will play a key role in coaching and mentoring our athletes, promoting teamwork, and fostering a positive and supportive environment. Available coaching opportunities in Hedge End on Thursdays. We have opportunities in-house for the right candidate to learn and become qualified as well. Rates are determined based on junior to full lead roles. Duties: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging sessions to enhance skills and performance. Develop and implement effective training programmes to improve technique, stunts, tumbles, jumps, and routines. Motivate and inspire squad members to reach their individual and collective goals. Organise and supervise practices, rehearsals, and performances. Provide constructive feedback to enhance members' skills and confidence. Collaborate with other coaches, staff members, and parents to ensure the success of the programme. Attend competitions, events, and games to support the squad, if required. Skills: Proven experience in sports coaching, particularly in cheerleading or dance. Ability to educate and train individuals of varying skill levels. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members, parents, and stakeholders. Excellent organisational skills to plan practices, schedules, and events efficiently. Passion for the disciplines with a commitment to promoting sportsmanship and teamwork. Strong reliability. Experience: Previous coaching experience is advantageous, working with all ages from preschool to young adults; support can be given for the right candidate. DBS, First Aid, safeguarding (assistance can be provided). Dance, Acro, Cheerleading, Gymnastics qualifications are ideal (but can be supported by us).
