Role: Senior Software Controls EngineerLocation: Warrington officeHours: 37.5 per weekAre you a seasoned Controls Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise and drive innovation in the automation industry?Actemium Automation Warrington is seeking a talented Senior Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team!About the roleAs a Senior Controls Engineer at Actemium Automation Warrington, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of control systems for a wide range of automation projects.From concept to commissioning, you will play a pivotal role in delivering cutting-edge solutions that exceed client expectation.Main Responsibilities:Actively participates in the whole life cycle of delivering projects, from start to finishFoster great relationships with customers, suppliers and colleaguesProduce, design and test documentationDevelop PLC, HMI and SCADA softwarePerform testing with customersCarry out on-site commissioning and compile training manuals to run customer training sessionsThe PersonProficiency in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.) and HMI/SCADA development.Good understanding of setting up, commissioning, and fault finding of industrial networks (Profibus, ProfiNet, Ethernet) preferred, but not essentialStrong understanding of control systems theory and industrial automation standards.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Proven track record of successfully delivering complex automation projects from conception to completion.Benefits PackageWhat we offer in return:Competitive salary25 days holiday + bank holidaysHealthcare payback schemeVINCI share schemePension match of up to 6%Hybrid working/ flexible hoursAt AA Warrington you will be working on exciting and challenging projects, that foster innovation and creativity.
