Translating user requirements and technical specifications into concept designs and fully engineered design solutions. Planning and executing engineering and design activities. Production of engineering documentation. Production of design substantiation and scoping calculations. Production of engineering drawings. Undertaking technical reviews and risk assessments. A number of years’ experience working in design engineering. Demonstrable experience working within a highly regulated industry, preferably nuclear. Ability to function within an engineering team in the definition, implementation and delivery of engineering work packages. Awareness of the NEC suite of contracts, change control methodology, and common Project Management practices. Part of the VINCI Energies Group, Actemium provides engineering design, project management, installation, and commissioning of electrical, mechanical, and IT services in the United Kingdom since 1907. In addition, we provide specialist maintenance operations, fully complemented with accredited safety tests and inspection services to optimise the operational efficiency and safety of our client's equipment and systems. Whilst part of a global network of 300 Business Units, Actemium UK comprises 7 Business Units covering all of the UK & RoI.
