Horizon Healthcare Homes are currently seeking a suitable candidate to become Acting Team Leader to cover a Maternity Leave, starting in February 2025. The role will be to support individuals with learning and physical disabilities and other complex needs at their 8 bed home in Dewsbury. We are looking for people who have a desire to make a real difference in people’s lives; have the energy to contribute to a stimulating and varied environment and are passionate about supporting the people who live at the home to live as independently as possible. The role is 36 hours per week consisting of 3 x 12 hour shifts from 8am-8pm. Two years experience of working in a residential or other care home setting is essential as is a good working knowledge of supporting people with learning disabilities and/or complex needs. Candidates should have a level 2 health and social care diploma and be willing to work towards the level 3 diploma. All posts are subject to an enhanced DBS check. Horizon Healthcare Homes Ltd was established in 2007 and currently operate 9 homes across West Yorkshire. We provide high quality support for adults with a learning and or physical disability.
