Be the subject matter expert on Vanguard's Active equity products. Provide product expertise to clients and crew with great depth of knowledge on equities. Be a consultant to the distribution businesses and investment teams to ensure the health and commercial success of Vanguard's active equity products. Duties and Responsibilities Prepares content, writes periodic product commentaries and conducts training for crew related to products, increasing general investment acumen of the business, supporting distribution efforts and satisfying regulatory requirements as needed. Attend client meetings to represent Vanguard's active equity income line-up, articulating the internal and external manager's investment process, positioning, and market views. Present at industry conferences and client specific events related to the product category of focus. Respond to complex crew and client inquiries regarding product attributes, positioning, or other complex investment product topics as needed. Contribute to thought leadership pieces on pertinent topics to support Vanguard product growth. Conduct analyses of investment product issues confronting Vanguard's product line-up. Leverage and manage cross-functional teams as required. Prepare and present strategic analysis and recommendations to senior management at various forums. Develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships (with both internal and external stakeholders including both internal and external investment managers). Support product strategy with input on existing product enhancements and new product development initiatives while overseeing the product health of Vanguard's active equity solutions. Keep abreast of key themes across financial markets and developing ESG trends in the equity market. Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned to support the continued growth and health of the active equity business. Qualifications Undergraduate degree required; Advanced degree, CFA charter or progress to CFA preferred. Minimum of 7 years of relevant industry experience either within a similar role or investment experience. Experience in presenting and having regular contact with advisor and wholesale clients. Strong theoretical and practical understanding of equities, analysis, and portfolio management techniques. Proficient in articulating financial markets. Demonstrated conceptual thinking skills and the ability to anticipate implications of decisions. Exemplary interpersonal communication skills and superior written communication skills. High-level presentation skills. Experience using Factset and Morningstar is preferred. Experience in equity ESG is an advantage. Special Factors Hybrid work model.
