Geography Teacher - Temporary, potentially until February half-term Your new company Nestled in the picturesque countryside of West Sussex, this small, independent school offers a nurturing and inclusive environment for students aged 11 to 16. Known for its close-knit community, the school places a strong emphasis on individual growth, academic achievement, and personal well-being. With small class sizes, each student benefits from personalised attention and tailored teaching approaches that cater to diverse learning needs. The campus features modern facilities alongside historical charm, creating an inspiring setting for education. Students are encouraged to engage in a broad curriculum that balances traditional academic subjects with creative and practical options. Beyond the classroom, the school provides a rich array of extracurricular activities, including sports, drama, music, and outdoor pursuits, fostering well-rounded development. Pastoral care is a cornerstone of the school's ethos, ensuring that every student feels valued and supported. Its mission is to prepare young people for their next steps in life with confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of community responsibility. Your new role The role of a geography teacher, starting ASAP, potentially until February half-term, involves delivering engaging and high-quality lessons to students across the age range, fostering a passion for geography and a deep understanding of the subject. Responsibilities include planning and delivering lessons in line with the curriculum, assessing and monitoring student progress, and providing constructive feedback to support their development.
