Activity and Transport Officer • Casual • Hourly rate $37.40 + 25% loading • Location: Croydon The Social Inclusion & Wellbeing team, within Aged and Disability Services, is seeking motivated and experienced Activity and Transport Officers to assist in the Social Inclusion and Wellbeing on an as needed basis. The Social Support program operates Monday to Friday 9 am to 4 pm. You will have: Extensive experience as an Activity worker/Diversional Therapist assisting older people and those with mild memory loss with activities in centre based and community based settings Dedication to best practice, evident in your ability to design and implement enjoyable, innovative, progressive programs with an emphasis on wellbeing, choice and independence A solid understanding of wellness & enablement approaches and how it applies to building capacity in members who are socially isolated Demonstrated experience working with volunteers Excellent interpersonal, customer service skills and a healthy commitment to contributing to positive team culture Confidence in computer use including MS Outlook and client management database system/s Excellent time management and organisational ability to remain responsive in a busy work environment Willingness to drive a 12 seat, automatic bus (standard Victorian drivers licence) You will be based in Croydon, the site of the Social Inclusion & Wellbeing program.
