We have an opportunity for an Actuarial Specialist to join our team, this is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys being involved in a wide variety of work whilst making a real difference for the customers of the UK’s largest insurer! A bit about the job: The team provides actuarial advice and product support to a wide variety of customers both internally and externally, also playing a key role contributing to company projects which help our existing business policyholders. Within the role you will be responsible for reviewing and delivering timely and accurate calculations for both individual policies and products affected by system changes. Being accountable for ensuring the correct method and calculations are used when providing values to other internal teams within Aviva. You will need to decide if the information presented to you is sufficient and calculations are accurate. To be effective you will need to learn fast and become familiar with many products and calculation methods, delivering work that has strong governance and controls. Skills and experience we’re looking for: A wide range of product knowledge and experience, including an understanding of WP business Strong analytical and Microsoft Excel skills Ability to manage and prioritise workload with business objectives Qualified actuary or equivalent by suitable experience What you’ll get for this role: Starting

salary

up to £65,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications) Bonus opportunity - 10% of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s. Generous
