2 Rotating Shift Pattern

Full-time / Permanent

We are looking to recruit a Production Operator to join our workforce across our BSW Timber site in Newbridge. As a Production Operator, you will contribute towards the creation of quality timber products – on time and to specification.

Responsibilities:

Operation of state-of-the-art sawmilling machinery.

Manual handling of timber.

Working towards set production targets.

Operation of mobile plant vehicles.

Upholding the appropriate health and safety practices.

About you: Ideally, we’re seeking motivated and hardworking individuals who are quality-focused and who understand the value of the goods they are producing. A degree of flexibility will be required to ensure operations are maximised, maintained, and quality targets are met with minimum wastage. In addition, you will have:

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Good organisational skills and attention to detail.

An appreciation of quality and health & safety.

Willingness to undertake all relevant training required to fulfil the role.

Experience within a manufacturing or similar production environment would be advantageous.
