We are a disability confident leader and we support reasonable adjustments throughout the recruitment process - for more information click here North Ayrshire Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service (NADARS) currently have an opportunity for you to join the team as an Addiction Worker. You should have experience of working within a substance use recovery team, as well as experience of integrated working within a health and social care partnership. This post aims to encourage and support service users living with substance use issues, in regaining control over their own lives and developing their own personal recovery plan. We offer robust training support with peer and management assistance to build your experience in this challenging but rewarding field of practice. You will liaise with a variety of other agencies (statutory & non-statutory) to best support people accessing our service. This is a rewarding post and offers the opportunity to support people into their recovery from substance use. This post is 28 hours per week, fixed term until 31/03/2026.
