INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY 1 x 36 hours, 52.14 weeks per year, Permanent You will work within the Community Addictions Service (Social Work) in partnership with Housing Support Services to contribute to the provision of a range of flexible services to meet the needs of individuals experiencing problematic alcohol and/or drug use who are threatened by homelessness and during the transition from temporary accommodation/emergency accommodation, and encourage them to do this as independently as possible. You will be based within a Social Work Team, which consists of Social Workers and Addiction Workers, within a multi-disciplinary service. This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council.
