INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY 1 x 36 hours, 52.14 weeks per year, Permanent You will work within the Community Addictions Service (Social Work) in partnership with Housing Support Services to contribute to the provision of a range of flexible services to meet the needs of individuals experiencing problematic alcohol and/or drug use who are threatened by homelessness during the transition from temporary accommodation or emergency accommodation, and encourage them to do this as independently as possible. You will be based within a Social Work Team, which consists of Social Workers and Addiction Workers, within a multi-disciplinary service. This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council.
