Care to Join Us? We currently have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Additional Learning Support Administrator. The information below provides some more detail about the role and you may also wish to learn a little more about working for South Hampshire College Group by viewing the below video. Duties: To administer the EHCP Annual Review process, including requesting and collating all contributions, both internally and externally, preparation of all documentation and attending/minuting annual review meetings. Support with the write up of completed annual review reports and distribute these according to compliance timeframes set by issuing Local Authorities (when required). To support the ALS Lead/Coordinator in taking general day to day enquiries and following up as appropriate. To be the first point of contact for parents/carers and other key stakeholders, with regards to ALS. To liaise with feeder schools, parents/carers, other education providers and external agencies, to ensure all appropriate student’s SEN/EHCP documentation is received and uploaded appropriately within college systems. Support with administration of Exam arrangements. To assist with the timetabling and tracking of personalised timetables for students with support needs. To support with the co-ordination of travel arrangements for learners with SEND and liaise with associated stakeholders (as required). Skills/Experience: Relevant experience in an administrative role. To be sensitive to the learning needs of students with additional learning support needs, being able to communicate with them effectively. Experience of working in a school/college environment. Proven organisational and administrative skills. Good communicator, able to explain complex processes to a range of stakeholders. Qualifications: Five GCSEs at grade 4 / C or above (including Maths and English). Educated to Level 3 (A-Level or equivalent).
