Full time
Job offered by: Psicon Ltd
Category: Social Care
Location: Sheffield

About the job

At Psicon, we’re passionate about helping unique minds to thrive and as one of the UK’s largest providers of neurodevelopmental services, it’s our goal to support individuals and their families through the challenges of accessing high quality diagnostic assessments and post-diagnostic care.

We know that diagnostic services are stretched and as a trusted NHS provider of Autism and ADHD assessments since 2014, we actively support our patients to access their NHS assessment as quickly as possible.

With a greater understanding of neurodiversity, demand for Autism and ADHD assessments has drastically increased and to maintain our commitment of providing an assessment within six to nine months, we’re actively looking for qualified clinicians who share our passion for clinical excellence to join the team.

We are looking for dedicated individuals to carry out ADHD assessments on a face to face and/or remote basis, who share our values of commitment, trust, integrity and kindness.

  • You must be a registered clinical psychologist, paediatrician, child and adolescent psychiatrist or registered mental health nurse.
  • Be confident, competent and experienced in the delivery of robust, high-quality and NICE compliant ADHD assessments for children and young people age 6 -18yrs.
  • Able to commit to providing face-to-face and/or remote appointments.
  • Able to demonstrate up to date supervision, appraisal, professional registration and revalidation (GMC & NMC).

What We Offer

  • Flexible work, available 7 days a week as much or as little as you’d like (subject to working time directive).
  • Competitive ‘per assessment’ tariff payable outside IR35.
  • Regular supervision with opportunities to enhance and develop assessment skills.
  • Regular free CPD opportunities delivered by experts in the field.
  • A genuine opportunity to make a difference to children, young people and their families experiencing the challenges of living with undiagnosed neurodiversity.
