Paid Trial Day We are looking for an outstanding ADHD Teaching Assistant to join one of our leading schools in Greenwich, South East London. As an ADHD Teaching Assistant, you will provide a fostering and positive approach to teaching. You will manage behaviour and adhere to safeguarding principles while supporting a Year 6 classroom. Some students can be quite challenging, but this is your chance to showcase your skills and behaviour management abilities. You will collaborate with the classroom teacher and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for the students. ADHD Teaching Assistant The ideal candidate:
Experience working with students with behavioural challenges, preferably in an educational or special education setting. Knowledge of behaviour management techniques, positive reinforcement strategies, and de-escalation methods. Ability to establish rapport and build positive relationships with students, demonstrating patience, empathy, and understanding. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations. ADHD Teaching Assistant Requirements:
Experience working with ASD, ADHD, or SEMH. Safeguarding experience. Enhanced DBS Certificate (preferably on the update service). ADHD Teaching Assistant Benefits:
