We are looking for a responsible Admin Assistant to support our admin and finance departments with a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties include providing support to our managers and employees, assisting in daily office tasks and general administrative activities. Responsibilities: Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.) Sorting out daily post and answering any queries Inputting Subcontractor time sheets and processing invoices Updating Subcontractor Matrix Reconciling Supplier Statements and preparing payment runs Remittances – preparing and emailing Remittance Advice's Setting new contracts up Raising invoices for Pure Fabs Limited Setting up Suppliers/Customers on Sage Process orders Scanning documents and filing Understanding and using filing systems Booking travel arrangements Monitoring supplies of stationery and PPE Preparing payroll (workshop and site based) Updating hours for workshop and site based on our system Maintaining of Purchase Ledger and investigation of irregular balances Following and using accounts and admin procedures Providing administrative support to the team and holiday cover as and when required Examples of Systems Used: Outlook Sage Excel Word Construction Manager About You: Prior experience as an admin or accounts assistant Maths Level 6 or above (Grade B) Experience or working knowledge of office equipment Proficiency with MS Office Applications Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work Attention to detail and problem solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task Good team working and inter-personal skills Experience of Sage Line 50 desirable About the Role: 40 hours per week - flexible Training and Progression available with opportunities to grow and develop your own path The company specialises in manufacturing and construction and is expanding into new markets. It is envisaged that the admin department will grow over the coming years and this role has the potential to see you growing during that time as well. We are looking for someone who wants to develop as an individual both personally and professionally. Someone who wants to take on more responsibility and with the relevant training and support grow their own role and become a key member of the admin team who will be responsible for helping the company reach its objectives.
