This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed Band 3 Administrator to join our well-established team of administrators and clinicians working to meet the health needs of children in care, care leavers, and those open to the youth justice service. 14/01/25 Main Duties of the Job

You will work as part of an existing administrative service providing comprehensive admin support to clinicians. Manage the team's information systems and accurately maintain all elements, ensuring timely statutory notifications to all agencies. Produce high-quality documents from written, recorded, or dictated material. Handle the administrative element of externally working with the Children and Families Trust database (LCS) and undertake training to maintain awareness of system changes. Take and/or provide minutes and agendas for meetings. Provide and receive sensitive information regarding Safeguarding Children, communicating with a wide range of professionals, within BDCFT Policies and Protocols. Collate and distribute documents internally and externally, including photocopying as required, while adhering to data protection policies and procedures. Plan and prioritize workload based on service needs. Participate in regular supervision and attend all mandatory training. Participate annually in identifying, developing, and agreeing your own development plan with your line manager using the Trust Appraisal process. Comply with all Trust policies, procedures, and protocols. About Us

Qualifications

Relevant Level 2 Qualification or demonstrable equivalent experience. GCSE Passes at Grade C or above in Math's and English or equivalent. Prepared to undertake relevant training to develop skills required to carry out duties. Experience

Demonstrable Administration/office experience. Understanding of Confidentiality & Data Protection Act (1998). Competence and at least 2 years experience in using Microsoft Windows - Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. Minute taking and transcribing within the team. Experience of dealing with telephone calls of a highly sensitive nature and dealing with professional people. Knowledge of Information Governance. Previous experience of working within NHS. Knowledge of Safeguarding Children. Knowledge and experience of working in a multi-cultural environment. Skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills. An ability to deal with sensitive issues. Good interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team. Ability to work under pressure. Flexible. Willing to learn. Disclosure and Barring Service Check
