Job Overview
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated person who will provide admin support within the Early Years Team, Child & Young People’s division, based in the Conwy Child Development Centre, Llandudno.
The successful candidate will have a good standard of education, excellent communication skills, be able to work on their own initiative and be efficient and organised with their own workload. The candidate should also have excellent keyboard skills and experience of Microsoft Office Package.
A good telephone manner is essential. The post holder will be required to demonstrate a professional and sensitive manner and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
Good standard of general education, GCSE English at grade C and above or equivalent. NVQ level 2 or equivalent knowledge and experience or willing to work towards.
Desirable criteria
IT related qualification
L2 RSA/OCR or equivalent text or audio.
Experience
Essential criteria
Knowledge of a range of administrative processes.
Desirable criteria
Experience of working in office environment.
Experience of working within the NHS.
Skills
Essential criteria
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of staff both verbally and in writing. Excellent Customer Service skills. Flexible and adaptable to changing service demands. Ability to meet deadlines. Good organisational skills.
Desirable criteria
Proficient in use of Microsoft office applications. Experience of using patient administration systems. Experience of organising meetings/activity.
Knowledge
Essential Criteria
Ability to work to established policies, service level agreements and key performance indicators. Evidence of continual personal development. Knowledge of secretarial role including progress chasing.
Desirable criteria
Knowledge of NHS Organisations.
