An opportunity has arisen within our Children's Feeding and Dietetic Service for a band 3 administrator.

You will provide a high quality confidential and comprehensive administrative service within the team. This is a part time post based at Franklins Way, Wickford. You will work as part of the admin and support team helping to support the clinicians.

This opportunity will allow you to use your administrative skills and to establish good working relationships with colleagues. You will be an excellent communicator and have the ability to prioritise your workload ensuring that work is completed in a safe and timely manner. In addition, we are seeking someone who is able to warmly welcome patients into the building when reception cover is needed.

Main Responsibilities:

Typing/editing of letters Managing registration of referrals Booking appointments Taking calls/messages and communicating these effectively within the team Ensuring the email inbox is up-to-date Using the electronic patient record system and tasks Ordering equipment and supplies Working with internal administrative processes Covering reception and warmly welcoming patients and families/carers into our building

Starting with NELFT NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop-in sessions focusing on engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.

High Cost Area Supplement

This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £1,258 and a maximum payment of £2,122 per annum pro rata).
