As the Administrator at Acer Lodge, you will be placed at the heart of the home along with the people that live here. This is a varied role, and no two days will be the same. You will work closely with the Registered Manager on reports, recruitment events, and activities within the home. You will carry out pre-employment checks, referencing, and ensure offer letters are sent to new team members. You will form close relationships with people living and working in the home, create and maintain files, and conduct monthly audits, ensuring complete confidentiality. You will lead the reception team, conducting 1:1s and appraisals, and ensure budgets are set up and controlled. We are looking for someone who has experience working as an administrator in a residential or nursing home, who can work to deadlines, and is a self-starter who loves to be part of a team. You will need to demonstrate strong IT skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook, and have an aptitude for learning other software applications.
