BTMK Solicitors Ltd are looking to recruit an administrator role into our Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury department. The successful candidate will be working to support the existing secretarial team and will be a team player, enthusiastic to learn and be able to relay concise, detailed messages from both clients and fellow professionals. The role is based in one of our Southend offices and is a Part-time, permanent position. The role will be three full days per working week. No experience in Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury department or a legal setting is necessary. Salary will be discussed during the interview process. Please find below a description of some general duties, the list is not exhaustive but is meant to describe the regular work you will be required to conduct. Part secretarial support to secretarial team, paralegals and fee earning staff Typing from dictation and hard copy for the department Working with, updating and maintaining the medical record database Carrying out on-going tasks as overseen by secretarial team and fee-earners (as appropriate) including drafting day to day correspondence Assisting all members of the team with daily tasks e.g. scanning and organising outgoing post and correspondence Diary maintenance and setting and monitoring own diary notes Dealing with the administration processes for monies either payable to or received from clients, suppliers and any other relevant organisations or individuals Managing, organising, and updating relevant data using database applications Answering the telephone, liaising with clients and other professional organisations General administrative tasks including filing and photocopying Ad hoc duties resulting from the above and as necessary within the department Attendance at such training as may be approved by the firm as will be necessary to fulfil the requirements of the position Adherence to office policies and procedures as set out in the office manual If you feel this role would be suitable for you please email, attaching your CV and covering letter, to Lisa.smith@BTMK.co.uk.
