This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual with strong organisational and communication skills to contribute to the impactful work of the ZERO Institute. The ZERO Institute is seeking a highly organised, dynamic Administrator to join our team and support the Energy Use theme of our groundbreaking work.
This pivotal role will see you supporting the Programme Lead on energy and climate projects, working across departments, and liaising with key strategic university programmes like Oxford Net Zero and OxEarth. You will deal with a wide range of matters and provide support on organisational, financial, logistical and communication issues, including some of a confidential nature.
The post-holder will be based at the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment. Close coordination will be required with the ZERO Institute's headquarters (in Engineering), within SOGE (e.g., with the Environmental Change Institute) and with other strategic programmes of the university (e.g., Oxford Net Zero, OxEarth). Additionally, the post-holder may assume responsibility for supporting specific components of the ZERO Institute's operations, e.g., communications and events, coordinating closely with the ZERO Institute Programme Manager and Programme Administrator.
This post is fixed-term until 30 September 2027 and offered on a part-time basis (0.5 FTE).
