Admissions Team Lead . You will manage the admissions department, ensuring that the quality of service provision is outstanding from the first point of contact to service exit. This post involves overseeing the day-to-day running of the department, coordinating operational activity to maintain optimum occupancy levels through void and referral management. You will support the admissions team to operate effectively through regular line management and supervision, managing staffing levels, and coordinating operational activity. As an Admissions Team Lead, you will ensure that referrals into Nelson Trust are dealt with efficiently, effectively, and in a timely manner. You will be proactive in maintaining relationships with existing referrers and generating business opportunities with new referring areas through outreach networking and marketing. Your role will include undertaking clinical assessments and risk assessments to ascertain client suitability and motivation for residential treatment. You will provide reporting and monitoring data regularly and collaborate with key colleagues, undertaking trends analysis to drive forward the continuous development of residential services. You will contribute to the residential clinical meeting to provide awareness of incoming clients’ strengths and barriers to recovery, enabling clinical staff to support new admissions in building emotional and physical safety upon arrival in service. You will also oversee the medication processes for clients at the point of admission. To be successful in this role, you should have experience working with people affected by substance misuse issues and in a supervisory role. You should have excellent IT skills, including the use of Word and Excel, and possess excellent verbal and written communication and relationship-building skills. A good understanding of safeguarding procedures and knowledge of state welfare benefits are essential. You should be able to manage risks, deliver quality services, and maintain professional boundaries.
