**Salary:** Up to £28,288 per annum to include 2 sleep ins per week. 3 Days on including 2 sleeps 4 off shift pattern

**Hours:** Full time Days plus sleeps

**Location:** Staffordshire area

Please note a Full UK driving licence is desirable for this role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in providing essential support to young people aged 16 to 18 in supported accommodation. This role involves working shifts from 8 AM to 10 PM plus sleep ins, offering a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young individuals.

**Key Responsibilities:** ● Provide daily support and guidance to young residents, fostering a positive and safe living environment. ● Engage in effective communication to build trust and rapport, enabling residents to express their needs and aspirations. ● Handle challenging situations with patience and resilience, ensuring the well-being of all individuals in your care. ● Maintain accurate and thorough records, documenting interactions and progress to support safeguarding and effective service delivery.

**Qualities Required:** ● Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and empathetically, fostering an open dialogue with young people. ● Commitment and Reliability: A dedicated approach to your role, ensuring consistent support and presence for the residents. ● Outcome-Driven Mindset: Focused on achieving positive outcomes for young people, empowering them to reach their full potential. ● Ability to Handle Challenges: Experience working with challenging behaviours, demonstrating problem-solving skills and emotional resilience. ● Lone Working Capability: Comfortable working independently, while adhering to safeguarding protocols and maintaining a professional standard of care.
