Field Service Engineer - CCTV Are you an experienced engineer seeking a dynamic and varied role? We are looking for a Field Service Engineer to handle daily fault requests, planned preventative maintenance duties, and out-of-hours reactive tasks. Working with high-end integrated systems and advanced technologies, you will support a broad client base, ensuring critical sites remain secure and operational. This role requires flexibility, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work away from home when needed. You will be part of a collaborative team of remote engineers, all with strong technical expertise and a commitment to supporting each other. Key Responsibilities:

Provide a reliable, courteous, and effective service to clients. Maintain a professional image with high standards of dress and customer communication. Update the helpdesk with call statuses after service visits. Demonstrate high personal performance and support colleagues as required. Participate in the call-out rota. Maintain and repair complex analogue and digital CCTV systems across diverse environments, including public highways, shopping centres, and control rooms. Maintain and repair multi-site access control systems. Support and maintain perimeter detection systems. Conduct planned preventative maintenance activities. Handle occasional overnight stays as required. Skills & Personal Qualities:

Analytical thinker with a methodical approach to problem-solving. Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently. Excellent communication and customer service skills, including a confident telephone manner. Flexible and adaptable, able to multitask and work to tight deadlines. A team player with a willingness to share knowledge and support colleagues. Qualifications & Experience:

Strong knowledge of CCTV, IT, and PID systems of varying scales. Experience with access control systems, including site mustering. Familiarity with DVR and NVR systems. Capability for on-site repairs. Desirable Knowledge Includes:

PID systems Galaxy alarms Cortech GUI CEM access control systems Synergy Video matrix systems IP systems and networks RAID recording systems First-line repairs on gates and barriers Benefits:
